Marta Delgado

Marta is a lawyer with 17 years of experience counselling international companies in matters related to European Union law, antitrust, intellectual property, and commerce regulations. Since 2000 shehas worked with worldwide law firm Jones Day, where she leads the Intellectual Property Practice and co-leads the Antitrust Practice of the Madrid office. Marta collaborates closely with the University Carlos 3 of Madrid, where she is member of the Academic Board of the LLM in European Union Law. She created, together with the Carlos 3 University and Jones Day, the Illescas- Jones Day Prize with an aim to promote academic excellence and spread high quality knowledge amongst the future lawyers. Marta is also author of various publications, including two books which she has co-authored in EU law. She is individually recognised as a leading lawyer in the legal rankings such as Chambers Global, Chabers Europe and and Legal 500, in both antitrust and intellectual property in Spain.

Marta holds a degree in law from the Complutense University of Madrid and an LLM on European Union law from the University Carlos 3. She also holds titles from the Guildhall University in London and the University CE San Pablo, in Intellectual Property Law.

Marta brings to the Board of PWN Global her critical thinking, and her experience in the counselling of international clients in multi-jurisdictional deals, and most relevantly, her knowledge of how global organizations work and her ideas on how to create more opportunities for professional women. Marta has been a member of PWN Madrid since 2010.

Marta is passionate about many things, but on the top list are her husband and three daughters and going to the movies.
